Policies

Payment and Attendance Policies

Lesson fees are always pre-paid by the month.

Monthly payment is due by the last lesson of each month (checks can be
post-dated for the first of the month). This covers the following month’s lessons,
and secures your space for that month.

Materials Fees

$50  Foundation Level 1-9 (between 2-4 per year)

$13-30 for each Supplemental Program (between 1-3 per year)

Attendance

Students are responsible for regular attendance. A parent is always required to
attend their child(ren)’s lessons (and are welcome to attend in their child’s stead).

We are open for lessons on national, bank and school holidays. If your lesson falls
on Memorial Day, 4th of July or Labor Day, you will be offered an alternate day for
the missed lesson.

HF Piano Academy closes for 1 week at Thanksgiving, 2 weeks at Christmas and 1
week at Spring Break. The lesson rates already reflect these non-teaching weeks, no credits or adjustments are made.  HF Piano Academy is closed for a summer break from July 22 – August 23. Lessons resume the week of August 26.

Cancellations

We graciously request a thirty day notice prior to your final lesson.

Extended Vacations

If you take an extended leave for any reason, your re-enrollment is not guaranteed.
We will do our best to place you upon your return.

In the event that we cannot place you upon your return, you may be put on a
waiting list. You may also pay for the time that you are gone to secure your spot.
